We meet the first Thursday of every month at about 6:30 p.m. at a local restaurant.
The place varies and is usually posted on the Activities or Newsletter pages.

Dixie Rodders ******** Club by-laws ******* Revised 03/06/2003
This club is family oriented and dedicated to having good clean fun and fellowship.
Membership requirements and member definition
a) Any person, who owns a vehicle that is 25 years old or older, and wants to attend organized vehicle related functions as a representative of the Dixie Rodders car club. This vehicle need not be finished but should be a serious " work in progress " project.
b) Is the spouse and/or dependant child of a member.
c) Has attended at least one monthly meeting and one other club function (Cruise-In or Car Show ) .
d) Membership has been voted on and unanimously approved by all members present at a scheduled monthly meeting.
e) Pays a $50.00 initial fee and a $25.00 annual fee thereafter. These fees (hereafter referred to as dues) are not pro-rated and are delinquent after the first annual meeting.
Note: Children (of members) over 18 years of age who desire to show their own vehicle will be required to pay the $25.00 annual dues . No initial fee of $50.00 will be required.
f) If, for any reason, a member in good standing no longer owns a 25+ year old, vehicle they may retain full membership for two (2) years by simply paying the $25.00 annual dues . After the two (2) year period , they must be owners or become an " Honorary Member " . This allows them to represent the club at all functions but precludes them from voting on any club business. They will still be required to pay the $25.00 annual dues.
g) A previous member who has been dropped from the club rolls and wants to rejoin must meet all the requirements of a new member.
Club Officers
Officers will consist of a President , a Vice President and a Secretary / Treasurer
Officers will be elected by a majority vote of the members present at the 1st annual meeting each year with the following exception , the Vice President will automatically move up to the vacated Presidents position. A new Vice President and Secretary / Treasurer will then be elected.
Meetings – Cruise-Ins – Shows
Meetings will normally be held on the 1st Thursday of each month , with Cruise-Ins scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. A club-sponsored show will be held annually.
Members will be kept informed of club events by way of a newsletter generated by the Secretary / Treasurer when warranted and / or by phone calls from other members. All members are encouraged to attend and participate in club meetings , cruise-ins and shows. Each member is responsible for keeping the Secretary / Treasurer informed of an up to date address and phone number.
Finances
The Secretary / Treasurer will give a brief financial report at each meeting. It will require a majority vote of the members present at a scheduled meeting to allow expenditures of the club’s money .
